2019
Saanich Fair show results judged by Cliff Dick: Saturday (Aug. 31) Best In Show was Lois Fernyhough's Champagne, while Stan Mobey had Reserve with a Californian and Judy Currie Best of the Best Opposites with a New Zealand. Sunday (Sept. 1) results judged by George Germaine: Judy Currie's New Zealand was Best In Show, Kathy & Stan Mobey's Netherland Dwarf was Reserve, and Nathan Turner's Florida White was Best of the Best Opposites. 


Our much-anticipated 100 (+1) VIRBA anniversary show went ahead June 8, 2019, after the 100th anniversary show had to be cancelled last year due to the RVHD2 outbreak. Click here for results. 


2018
No show results for 2018 as shows were cancelled on Vancouver Island due to the RVHD2 outbreak.


2017
In 2017, VIRBA had two very successful club shows June 3 in Victoria at the Saanich Fairgrounds! Breeders attended from all over Vancouver Island and the BC interior, plus Washington state. Best in Show wins went to Donna Williams with a Holland Lop and Stan Mobey with a Californian.


Best in Show Saturday at the Saanich Fair was Lois Fernyhough's Champagne, while Jen Olson's English Angora was Reserve, and Kathy & Stan Mobey's Netherland Dwarf was Best of the Best Opposites. Their Mini Satin was Best in Show on Sunday. Reserve was William Turner's Holland Lop and Lois Fernyhough's Champagne was Best of the Best Opposites. All the winners are VIRBA members!


VIRBA members also swept the top awards at VIEX in Nanaimo Aug. 19 & 20. On Saturday, Judy Currie's New Zealand was Best in Show, Kathy & Stan Mobey's Mini Satin was Reserve, and Lois Fernyhough's Champagne was Best of the Best Opposites. On Sunday, Lois Fernyhough's Champagnes were both Best in Show and Best of the Best Opposites. Kathy & Stan Mobey had Reserve again, but with a different Mini Satin!


2016 was also a very successful fair show season. Some results:

The Vancouver Island Exhibition in Nanaimo Aug. 20-21 saw VIRBA members doing well. Reserve in Show Saturday was Lois Fernyhough's Champagne and Judy Currie's New Zealand was Best of the Best Opposites. On Sunday, Stan Mobey's Californian was Best in Show and Lois Fernyhough's Champagne was Best of the Best Opposites.


Next up was the Saanich Fair, two shows (Saturday and Sunday) over the Labour Day weekend, plus we had rabbit hopping and agility on Monday. Best In Show Saturday was Stan & Kathy Mobey's Californian, Reserve in Show was Lois Fernyhough's Champagne, and Best of the Best Opposites was Stan & Kathy Mobey's Mini Satin. Sunday Best In Show was youth member William Turner's Florida White, Reserve was Stan & Kathy Mobey's Californian, and Best of the Best Opposites was Lois Fernyhough's Champagne.


The Cowichan Fair finished off the fair season Sept. 10 & 11. VIRBA members Stan & Kathy Mobey had Best In Show on Saturday with a Californian, and on Sunday with a Netherland Dwarf.
